I used to think phone cases were just there to stop the phone from cracking.
Which is funny because now they appear in pretty much every mirror selfie, coffee run photo, car selfie, nail appointment picture and random “look at my outfit” shot. Half the time, the case is literally in your hand, so if it looks wrong, the whole picture feels a little off.
A good phone case is like a good pair of sunglasses or earrings. Small but highly visible. It can make a basic outfit feel cleaner, a bold outfit feel styled, or a lazy outfit feel like you meant it.
These are the cases that seem less like something you grabbed last minute and more like part of the outfit.
Casely
Casely is good for when you want the phone to look fun, without making it feel childish. There's a massive mix of iPhone, Samsung and Pixel cases, alongside MagSafe and personalizable options, so it's easy to find something that fits your actual phone and not just the aesthetic board.
Pink Stripes is my pick for soft outfit days. It’s sweet and a little preppy, and it goes with white tanks, jeans, ballet flats and glossy lips.
Sage Garden is more tranquil. More for the girl who likes green, linen stuff and gold jewelry. It still has personality, but it doesn't shout in the mirror.
Casely has a couple of deals happening right now including a BOGO free case deal and 10% off sitewide with code SPRING10. I’d recommend grabbing anything that catches your eye quickly as these deals may not be around for long.
Best for: playful mirror selfies.
Murbel
Murbel has that polished, kinda European case look. The designs look like something you’d see on a scarf or a manicure inspo board, not just a flat phone cover. The cases also come with protective options, with MagSafe options and raised bezels depending on the style.
Opal is pretty in that glossy marble way. It has soft iridescent tones so it looks luxe but not too serious.
Vanilla Swirl is the better choice for those who want beige outfits but don’t want the phone to disappear completely. It has artist warmth and the swirl detail prevents it from looking plain.
Best for: soft luxe girls.
Not Another Bill
This is where the phone case starts feeling more like a gift to yourself. Not Another Bill’s personalized cases are nice if you want something simple but fun. The offer Pebble, Croc and Vegan Leather iPhone cases with personalization available.
Pebble iPhone Case is probably the cleanest pick. It has that minimal, textured look that works with work bags, coats and neutral outfits. You can choose your favorite color or personalize them.
Croc iPhone Case feels more baddie. Not loud exactly, but they do stand out. You can personalize them with ‘jibbitz’ or charms just like your Crocs sandals.
Best for: fun personalized cases.
Muk Barcelona
Muk Barcelona has a more muted collection. There are some that are not quiet but most of them are chic-ready. I love their mirror cases, puffy cases, studs cases, MagSafe, clear cases and personalized designs. It feels more trend-driven.
Moon Mirror Phone Case is the obvious mirror selfie case because, well, mirror. It gives outfit-check energy right away.
Snake Print Phone Case is more of a bold and less sweet choice. Good if your clothes are black, leather, cargos or boots.
Muk Initial Phone Case is good if you want color but still want it to feel personal.
Best for: bold outfits.
Burga

Burga is for people who want protection but still care what the phone looks like from across the room. My favorite Burga cases for the iPhone 17 Pro Max are the Tough MagSafe, Elite Mirror, and Puffy versions. They stand out because they give the phone a stronger, more protective feel with raised edges and a sturdier build, while most styles still work with MagSafe for daily use.
Sobremesa Case has that soft blue cafe print look that feels expensive in a cute way. I’d pick it for everyday outfits that need a little detail.
Lover iPhone 17 Pro Case is more obvious. Pinker, sweeter, and better if your style already has bows, blush, gloss and tiny bags in it.
Best for: protective but pretty.
JW PEI

JW PEI cases are not trying to be minimal, which I respect. These are for the girls who want their phone case to be noticed in the picture. Their phone case page includes crystal, bling and food-inspired designs like Olive Martini, Kiss of Glamour, Sushi and Hot Dog. I love how artistically blingy JW PEI cases are.
Evil Eye Case is the one for flash photos, nails and jewelry stacks. It has that sparkly protective-charm look. I got this one as soon as I laid my eyes on it.
Orange Burst Bling Phone Case is louder and more fun. Not for every outfit, but amazing when the whole look is already playful.
Best for: statement selfies.
Atelje
Atelje feels more casual-cool than polished. The no-ring iPhone case selection has recycled cases in colors like Sunlit, Mosslight, Motel Pink, Teal, Mirror, Ivory Polkadot and Black Polkadot. Some styles also come with cords if you like the hands-free look.
Mirror iPhone Case, No Rings is the one to grab when you want the case to do more than just look cute. It gives you that quick reflection for lip gloss, hair checks, or mirror selfies, without feeling too loud.
Ivory Polkadot iPhone Case has a cool polkadot look. It has that playful vintage feel without looking too childish.
Best for: cool everyday use.
Native Union

Native Union is more grown-up. Less “look at my case,” more “this matches my laptop sleeve and tote.” Their iPhone case collection focuses on quality materials, texture, durable construction and everyday carry. Native Union cases are made of recycled materials and provide reliable drop protection & built-in magnets.
Cheetah Cappuccino Case for iPhone 15 is the ultra-cool, stylish option. Animal print, but warm and wearable.
Embossed Cognac Case for iPhone 14 feels more classic. It gives leather-bag energy without needing the case to be actual designer.
Best for: minimal girls who still want texture.
The Case Actually Counts
I don’t think every phone case needs to be a whole personality.
Sometimes you just want something clean that protects the camera and doesn’t slip out of your hand. Sometimes you want sparkles because the outfit is basic and the nails are fresh. Both make sense.
For mirror selfies, I’d go Casely, JW PEI or Muk Barcelona. For everyday style, Burga, Ateljé and Native Union feel easier. For something personal, Not Another Bill wins.
The phone is already in the picture anyway. Might as well make it look like it belongs there.
