There is a very specific moment when you try on a swimsuit and you instantly know what the day is going to be like.
Sometimes it starts with strap adjustments, with tugging at the bottoms, checking angles in the mirror a little too closely. You haven't even made it to the beach and you're already feeling a little off. Usually it’s not one big thing, just little things adding up.
With Monday Swimwear, that moment was different.
It wasn’t anything big. I just didn’t feel the need to keep fixing stuff. The cloth was where it should be. The cuts made sense on the body. And I wasn't thinking about how it looked from every angle for once.
I tried and fell in love with the following Monday Swimwear.
Ibiza + Formentera Set
This was the first one I tried, and I sort of expected it to feel like every other halter set. You tie it. You adjust it twice. And then you spend the rest of the day wondering if it’s still sitting right.
But not this one.
The top pulls everything in but doesn't feel tight. If that's what you mean, it's more a lift than a squeeze. I once fastened the neck tie and forgot about it, which is not something I usually say about halters.
The bottoms are high but not in that over sculpted way. They just… are there. No digging into the sides, no odd bunching when you sit down.
I kept it on around the house longer than I needed to, just to see if anything would start to feel funny. Was nothing.
Best for: If you like to customize your own fit, and don’t want something too structured.
Cala Roja + Bimini Skirt
This one was more of an outfit than swimsuit, which I wasn’t expecting.
You can feel the right underwire in the top, in a good way. Not stiff, not uncomfortable, just supportive enough to stay in place without constantly checking. The straps are wider than usual and it helps more than I thought.
The skirt was the thing I was unsure about, but it ended up being the easiest thing to wear. It doesn’t cling weirdly when you walk, and it doesn’t ride up on you constantly. It just sits there and does its thing.
I kept thinking this is something I would actually wear out of the water, not just by water.
Best for: if you like structure on top and some coverage without the heaviness.
Miami One Piece

I usually avoid strapless one-pieces because they never feel secure enough. This one really shocked me.
It sticks better than it looks like it would. I moved around a bit more than I needed to, just to test it out and it didn't move like I thought it would. There's more built-in support than you might think.
The belt detail is small, but it changes how your waist looks. Not dramatically, just enough to see the shape.
It’s not one of those pieces that you forget that you’re wearing right away, but after a while you don’t think about it.
Best for: When you want a cleaner silhouette but still want some shape.
Clovelly + St. Lucia Set
This one just felt the most “normal” in the best way.
Top has underwire but it is softer. It doesn't over arch or push too hard, it just molds to your shape. The straps actually adjust properly, which sounds basic but isn’t always the case.
The bottoms have that slight V in the front and I didn’t think it would make much difference, but it does. It changes how everything sits without needing a higher waist.
This was the set I didn’t really think about once I put it on, which is kind of the point.
Best for: if you don’t want to think too much about what you’re wearing.
Bordeaux One Piece

This is the one I chose when I didn't want to get too revealing.
The ruching in the middle helps, but not in that obvious “shapewear” way. It just softens everything a bit. You don’t feel cramped, just… a little more together.
The neckline is lower than I expected, which prevents it from feeling too covered.
I wore this one the most and it did good. No stretching out, no awkward sagging after sitting for a while.
Best for: days when you want more coverage but still want to feel like you.
Bordeaux + Marseille Set
This one is quieter. It doesn’t stand out immediately, but it grows on you.
The top crosses over slightly, and that gives a bit of lift without padding. It feels secure, but not tight across the ribs, which is usually where I notice discomfort first.
The bottoms are higher cut, but they didn’t shift around as much as I expected. That’s usually where things go wrong, but these stayed in place.
It’s not dramatic, but it’s easy to wear, which honestly matters more.
Best for: if you like simple pieces that don’t need constant adjusting.
Bari Top + Bottom Set
This one feels lighter than the others.
The top ties at the neck and back, so you can adjust everything, but it doesn’t have the same support as the structured pieces. It works better if you don’t need a lot of lift.
The bottoms have that ring detail on the side, which adds something without making it feel overdesigned.
I noticed this one more when I was moving around. It’s not uncomfortable, just less “locked in” compared to the others.
Best for: more relaxed days, or if you prefer softer, less structured pieces.
Wearing It Outside
I wore my Monday Swimwear pieces in daily life. Like I wore the Miami one-piece with wide-leg trousers that felt like the easiest dinner outfit. No layering needed, just that and a bag. The Bordeaux one-piece with a simple wrap skirt worked for a casual evening. It felt slightly more put together without needing extra effort. I paired the Clovelly top with high-waisted denim. It sat like a regular top, not something I needed to keep adjusting or covering up.
Why Monday Swimwear Worked For Me
Monday Swimwear makes more sense once you wear it for a few hours, not just when you first try it on.
It’s not trying to completely reshape your body. It just fits in a way that feels a bit easier to deal with.
If you like very structured, held-in swimwear, you’ll probably lean toward specific styles here. But if you’re tired of constantly adjusting things or overthinking how something sits, this feels like a better experience.
It’s not perfect, but it’s one of the few times I didn’t feel like changing out of it straight away.
